    Kale watcha nei conserva oh!

If this isn't what it originally meant, it's what it means now as far as I'm concerned. Fits perfectly.

The Broken Promises and Outright Lies of the Season Pass

I was reserving judgment until I saw the next round of DLC but holy shit the audacity. 50 bucks for expanded settlement building and two expansion adventures.

    Nuka World Discussion

I can't think of Bethesda doing a Fallout theme park and not cringe. I can see it now, a roller coaster where the cars look like little rockets, test your strength with a hammer that looks like a bomb. A spooky house of ghouls- but with actual ghouls inside! They just can't conceive of the...

Poll: Which New Vegas DLC is the best?

My favourite is definitely Dead Money, though Old World Blues comes close. DM just doesn't waste an inch of space, it's packed with dialogue options (including Lockpick skill checks!) and everything is obliquely connected, all wrapping back around to the tragic story of the man who built the...

    Kale watcha nei conserva oh!

If "Kale" could mean "King" or "Lord" then it might mean God. "God watches but will not save you"? That would be a pretty apt line to come right before the Courier steps in to stay Joshua's hand...

    Rank the DLC's

4: Honest Hearts Joshua Graham is a really strong character, as is Daniel, the Survivalist logs are fantastic, and Zion is beautiful, but the actual content is a little slight. All the enemies are just reskinned or differently sized versions of other enemies in the main game or Fallout 3, and...

    Creepiest part in Fallout 3?

Yeah, it was quite haunting to get to the bottom of Vault 106 and see this little half-dug tunnel with skeletons, but the effect is undercut somewhat by the fact that I've slaughtered 20 or 30 crazy people in vault suits to get there

Why Vegas is a sub standard game

Yes, it lacked a theme that was meaningful in any way. That's why just about every faction was connected, to varying degrees of intimacy, with the past, and why almost every companion quest culminates in a choice between the past and the future, represented in no less than three such quests by...

Companion you hated most on a personal level?

lmao I know right? If it was real life I would probably dislike Cass or Boone the most. Cass just has a pretty grating personality, and makes dumb jokes like "Long dick Johnson". Boone is a war criminal who executed a bunch of noncombatants; and while he has the decency to beat himself up...

    Lonesome Road Talk (obviously spoilers)

What the divide was actually like isn't really important, it may well have been a piece of crap. But Ulysses liked it, and then it got destroyed and he almost died. I just figure it was a simple watering-hole town that reminded him of his old tribe.

Things we learned from Fallout 3

If you assume the current residents of the tower don't deserve it. Maybe it makes killing the residents the good choice, since it saves time and the residents are selfish pieces of shit anyway. The non-combat long way round is pretty fun though.

    Your least favorite FO3 quest.

The quest you get at Little Lamplight. I forget exactly what it involved, freeing some saves I think, but the upshot was that you had to leave Little Lamplight and then come back. That's an awful thing to ask me to do. I didn't like the vampire one because it pointed me to three locations...

    Fewer and fewer Mutants allowed

The Tunnelers kind of had a society. Well, until I killed their queen :(

How many hours did you clock on your first playthrough?

First playthrough was just the base game and came to 60 hours or so- much like Fallout 3, roughly double the level cap. I skipped a few quests and went straight for the ending because hitting the level cap in RPGs usually makes exploring less fun for me. Second was about 80 hours; I played all...

Shi emperor logs added by RP?

I liked them a lot; it wasn't an important thing to find out (who threw the first stone doesn't really matter afterwards) but it felt like a neat little nugget of knowledge to find nonetheless. I felt for the submarine captain, and it was nice to get something serious and emotional in San...
