    Bethesda responds to NMA's preview

Deceitful NMA-villains, bringing illegal recording and analytical devices to the preview - brains! You should have been aware that these contraptions are forbidden at all Bethesda media events.

Timeslip Fallout 1 and 2 engine tweaks

I'd rather see him make more improvements to FO1/2!

I recall the division being called Dragonplay.

    The Rybicki Maneuver

How about this one: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fallout_%28computer_game%29 "Developer: Black Isle Studios". And the reference (the [1]) is Cheong, Ian (yes, Exitium) through a faq on his Lionheart site.

    GFW on Fallout fans

Infogrames/Atari owns Master of Magic as well as Master of Orion, through Hasbro, through Microprose/SimTex. Since MoO3 crashed, they're pretty much regarding the series' as non-viable.

    GFW on Fallout fans

Why can't we get a "Starcraft 2" type sequel for Fallout? What we're getting is "Command & Conquer: Renegade" or "Starcraft: Ghost", except they're trying to pass it off as the real sequel and the press is lapping it all up like it's the most wondrous thing this side of the universe. One...

    Fallout 3 at E3 - Jeff Green

I think we can pretty safely establish at this point that the gaming press is utterly tasteless and shallow. The RPG genre is banalized and glitzified more by every year that passes and they revel in it.

    Interplay 10-Q and bankruptcy hearing

Herve's sodomy club is always good for a few laughs. This makes me recall a thread on the RPGCodex back in 2003 or something, where people were putting bets on when Interplay would die. Noone won.

    Fallout 3 at E3 - NeoGAF Q&A

Hardly. They probably think punishing low int would be a bit too much consequence for the xbox kiddies, but first and foremost it would need a lot more voiced dialogue to make sense. Everything is voiced. Every word costs.

    Fallout 3 interview on Eurogamer

Here's my impression: At some level in Zenimax/Bethesda, they came to the conclusion that they needed another franchise besides The Elder Scrolls. Cashing in on TES too many times in a row might reduce its value, and they needed more cash cows. Then, one day, Interplay (Herve) was fishing...

Breaking News: Generalissimo Francisco Franco is still dead!

Re: Breaking News: Generalissimo Francisco Franco is still d Someone mind telling him that we were not all drooling at Van Buren? Someone mind telling him that some of us were more pissed that they took the license from Troika?

    Fallout 3 newssnippets

No, that's presumably one of the things they considered during their generous pre-production stage. I'm sure they thought about us, mostly in how to craft a "streamlined" (aka dumbed-down) and "modern" (graphics, consoles, graphics) game in a way that would garner as little negative PR as possible.

    Fallout 3 will, y'know, like...not be at E3

Arquebus: Frankly, I don't think they're interested. They want to develop this game the way they choose, which is pretty much what they've said already and further indicated by not telling *anything* of substance.

Snippet about FO3 @ NGR Oblivion interview

I don't see what's "good" about this. He's promised nothing; this is just what they might say if they have some nasty surprises in store.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines for the 16th

Sure, if we discount the fact that Hungary and Austria lie between Germany and Romania when we take the shortest path. The reason the area has a German name; Siebenburgen; is because germans settled there once. I don't think there's many who would consider themselves german there anymore.
