Well, since both companies end with "-Tek" it seemed clear to me that both companies are connected if not outright owned by one or the other. I know there's no "canon" data on this, but it seems a likely scenario.

I re-installed and tried it... didn't work :(. Any other suggestions?

I'm running Fallout 2 with Interplay's 1.2 patch on an XP machine. I'm having the (what I recall to be) well known problem of crashing when exiting the Reactor level at the Enclave. Does anyone know a solution to this issue? I hate to have come so far in the game and then hit a dead-end. Thanks...
