I'd say yes, to a certain extent. It won't make us the perfect Wastelander, but still compared to people who never gamed, we sure know the basics.

I thought it was nice because it really gave more drama into it.

I can't seem to install the patch... It just says that I should install new hardware with the XP hardware manager than crash. It also says that I need to put it into the installation directory, which I did, but it still doesn't work. Trying on a non-patched Fallout 2 on XP.

I haven't been following the TPB story lately... what happened to them ? I knwo the site's still up, but how did things got back ?

It was a while ago, I was in search of a PC game to play. My PC was a AMD Athlon 550 Mhz with a TNT2 32 Mb and a whooping 128 Mb of RAM. I found Fallout in a small videogame shop downtown. Got cursious and bought it. I hated it in the first part, but started to like afterwards. Never regretted...
