Why ask me? I'm not a Bethsoft employee. All I know is that it takes place half a country away, and it's set 30 years after Fallout 2. Seems like 30 years would be a lot longer in a nuclear wasteland.

Obviously, sorry you couldn't see through it. Fallout 3 will be > than Fallout 1 and 2. The same way GTAIV was better than III, Vice City, and SA.

Why not call it Fallout 3? They bought the rights to it, they could create a barbie themed game and call it Fallout 3 if they waned to. This argument makes no sense. Fallout 3 is made by Bethesda, deal with it.

Bethesda didn't create the original Fallout series. They're trying something new with it, and that fact is hard for some of you to swallow. I'll post a review once I've played the game.

Ummm, yes I've seen gameplay footage, no it hasn't swayed my opinion to the obvious dark side. Having read the plot? Hell no. Why would I ruin the game? Knowing the plot beforehand would certainly be a reason not to want to buy the game.

Either way, there are three groups of people anticipating Fallout 3. Those who think it will be good, Those who think it will be bad, And those who reserve their opinion until they've played it themselves. I fall under the third group, and you sir, apparently fall under the second.

It's obvious that the majority of posters here resent the fact that Bethesda made Fallout 3, so it's only natural for such resentment to take form whenever someone says something good about the game, or when somebody says something bad. For example, Positive comments on FO3 = Lies...

I get the feeling that the previewer is a huge fanboy of FO1/2, and had nothing but resentment going into it to begin with. I'm still excited for Fallout 3. Why? Because playing FO1 and 2 over and over again gets really old, and it's time for a continuation of the series. Who knows...
