:| I fail to see how the addition of V.A.T.S. suddenly and miraculously changes how the entire combat system works, especially when apparently it is far more effective to simply shoot/slash he fuck out of your enemies till they die, something very reminiscent of Oblivion.

How does it look steampunk? All I see is electronics, no boilers or anything like that, are you talking about the robot with pneumatic pump arm controls? because thats not necessarily steam powered.

I wonder if this mean your character will get hungry, and if you leave them hungry it will have a detrimental effect on them. that might be interesting, tho like weapon damage/wear and tear they usually take it to the extreme and it gets anoying.

this sounds a bit odd. what exactly is a "random location"? is it just a random encounter or are they actual places like buildings and other similarly sized objects within the game that are randomly placed before you start? and then how extensive are they? I think it would be interesting...

I was being serious I merely responded to clarify, as people were apparently not correctly differentiating between "harmless" referring to NPC ghouls and the feral ghouls. my remark about sarcasm which was in itself sarcastic, was refer to the commenters to whom I posted to clarify there...

I think you guys need to read more carefully, "harmless" is not describing the feral ghouls but rather the NPC ghouls. basically the sentence means there are 3 kinds of ghouls: 1) harmless (NPC) 2) "Feral" ghouls who consume human flesh (Feral ghouls) 3) "Glowing Ones" who absorb...

true but even if it was the 70th time they redid it there are many ways to beat a dead horse...I was just saying I hope they actually make the reasoning behind it interesting and fit in well. I don't see how reviving the super mutants negates the impact of what the first vault dweller did as...

OK Tho I do like the idea of a fallout game that is FP as I think it would/will be very interesting to see the wasteland directly through the eyes of one of its inhabitants...its doubtful but I think if Beth actually attempted an Isometric TBS game especially a fallout one that it might be...
