Ok i've searched the forums and didn't come across anything to do with this - so sorry if this has already been posted.
here is a link for the wasteland merc 3 demo for you to try:

dogmeat is not the reason your being attacked - its because you killed everyone on the ground floor.
there is another place where you are supposed to get the robes to enter the cathedral stealthily - i wont say where as it sounds like your first time playing.
hope that helps...
i know planescape didn't well on the sale aspect of things - despite having a superb story - but why dont they make games like fallout anymore? ok yes money, but the pc world is flooded with unintelligable, linear games. It seems to me that there is a huge gap in the market for story driven...
I got introduced to fallout in secondary school by a mate - i'd never really played any pc games but he convinced me to give it a try.
i fell in love with it from the intro - being a fan of that kind of genre anyway (1984 anyone??) suffice to say many a coursework was handed in late due to my...
i wouldnt be bothered if they kept, near as damnit, the same graphics from the origional fallout's (i dont consider tactics to be fallout so it doesnt count) as long as they keep the great story line and sense of humour.
i wouldnt mind seeing a couple of RL weapons (as long as they were pre 50's) - mainly i'd like 2 see some more alien blaster type weapons as they fit in so well with the 50's sci fi.
perhaps some new weapons that the brotherhood have developed - not the obvious choices though - i.e rail guns
just to answer the initial question - yes
i read about soviet nuclear tests in national geographic years back - couldnt find anything as good as the article in there but this may interest some of you http://www.homestead.com/prosites-kazakhembus/Nuc_h.html
when i first played i have 2 admit i loved the bozar (who didnt??) - killing three people in a row who were throwing stones at you is so much fun. but have found a new appreciation for the gauss rifle - when u get the action boy and weapons cost 1 less ap point perks - 2 shots in the eye - nice :P
there's so many ideas to critiscise and so little time in the day so i'll just go with the 'make fallout more like postal' - anyone who has thought this could be a good thing for fallout 3 should be taken outside and shot repeatedly in the groin.
hmm - i see where you're coming from - i guess it would be nice to see how the other parts of the world got on... but i also feel that there are alot of unanswered questions from fallout 2 which could make a great follow up. i guess if they tie it in somehow to fallout 2 and have it in a...
i hope they keep that sort of dark harshness in the graphics..
basically not to make it all vibrantly colourful and cartoony - i really hate that.
even oblivion looks too cartoony for me - anyone agree or even understand what im trying to say??
i'd like to think that fallout 3 will be a continaution of fallout 2 - it was really nice to see how other towns had progressed - like meeting tandi and seeing how NCR was set up.
i no in the end sequences it gives a vague description on how each town u came into contact with fared but wouldnt...
