    Mojave Hellhole

Rico and Ape stumbled out of the Ultra-Luxe, bellies full of Brahmin steak and with fewer Legion coinage and caps then they entered with. "Aren't ya glad I put our name son the waiting list three months ago?" Rico asked Ape who was picking the remnants of his meal from his teeth...

    Mojave Hellhole

Rico and Ape tagged along, they had to find a way to spend the looted Legion currency somewhere. "Not much of a charmer eh?" Rico whispered to Ape. "Then try not to upset him please," Ape begged. Rico smiled, "Hey, I've got high charisma, you can't hate me."

Help me understand why Dead Money was worth it.

I got it practically on day one and it was hard, course the DLC that strips you of your equipment was always hard to me. If anything it show show much of a depended on your items you have.

    Mojave Hellhole

Rico dusted himself off and stood up straighter. "Well my compatriot and I appreciate the help," Rico said, "I suppose proper introductions are in order. I'm Rico and this big fella is Ape." Ape waved. "And you are?" Rico asked.

Things we learned from Fallout 3

    399. Cameras can help repair the most technologically advanced robot in the Capital Wasteland. (Apology if that was mentioned already, it's a big thread.)

In my opinion Fallout 3 is truest to Fallout 1.

New Vegas has an atmosphere like the first two games. If Bethesda had removed every Fallout reference from Fallout 3, it'd be just any other post-apocalyptic game and maybe it would be more acceptable. For Fallout though, it's piss poor.

    Your Favourite Fallout game?

I started Fallout with Fallout 3 admittedly, but went back and tried the first two. Maybe I'm just more prone to liking FPS and such, but I liked New Vegas the best. However, I appreciate the stories of 1 and 2.

NCR, Enclave, FEV Curling-13 (and mutants)

Never meant to use it as such, merely stating that his interpretation of the Enclave being the USA incarnate is wrong.

NCR, Enclave, FEV Curling-13 (and mutants)

Of course, much like Halo: Reach. The events of that game don't completely match up with previous canon, but if you take it as propaganda to give hope to a new generation, then it become much more acceptable. Same with Fallout 3.

The Fate of the Deep South?

Can you say giant, mutated alligators?

NCR, Enclave, FEV Curling-13 (and mutants)

I may be a new comer to the Fallout franchise, but I don't think the OP has any rational understanding of the Fallout lore. 1. You claim the Enclave are the true embodiment of America. News flash, I'm American and they are the pure embodiment of what America stands AGAINST. I saw the OP...

So in the end, did the Super Mutants add to anything?

Personally, I agree, Bethesda could've done something new for Fallout 3. But I can already hear the BAWing of people wanting Super Mutants in Fallout 4 if they aren't in. I bet a Broken Steel-like DLC would patch them in if enough people whined about it.

So in the end, did the Super Mutants add to anything?

At most, if we have a game set somewhere in the South, DC Super Mutants could migrate there and at least have the obligatory Mutant presence in a Fallout game.
