    Fallout 4 Wish List

ultimately, the large part of many of our complaints could be solved by: 1) in-depth skills/dialogue system 2) gritty, witty humor (NSFW, of course) 3) worthwhile plot lots of people seem to want an AO game, and unfortunately, it's not going to happen, even with Van Buren at the helm...

    Jericho - the movie

no - the whole point was people surviving in a post-apocalyptic world. Frankly, I'm surprised FO fans didn't seem to jump on the bandwagon. Jericho was great, especially in regards to the sub-plots with spies and shit. Also, the stepping-in of a modern military controlled by the corrupt...

    Anime

    - nice, heh. It seems like most people here aren't big into recent anime. For good newer anime, check out Kannagi or Macross F. Other great animes: Mai HiME Mai Otome Dai Akuji Last Exile School Days Da Capo Macross (any) The Miyazaki films are good, but not the solid-gold...

How did you discover Fallout ?

I got FO2 when I was 13 (I'm 20 now), from a friend who brought it over to my house. I played it through, and started a second game the next day. I only got a hold of FO1 a few months ago, and still haven't had a chance to play it. I like Tactics as a iso-tbs tactical game (I've never played...

    Will Fallout 3 be remembered?

Romulus' 2nd post above pretty well summed-up exactly how I feel about FO3, even down to being a Morrowind fan. I do think that honestly, his point regarding the quality of gamer you ask about FO3 is spot-on. There might be some console gamers here, but for the most part, NMA isn't the...

Things we learned from Fallout 3

    68. humans are better at hitting targets at mid-to-long distances than targeting computers.

Fallout 2 & 3 side by side comparison

why is this the best direction it can go? the problems aren't a matter of its direction per se, but a matter of the implementation. "making smaller towns, with no visible means of production" isn't a direction, it's a blunder. The problem is when people start acting as though this was the...

    Huge caches of meds/gold?

heck, I'm using the boss monster mod, "increased increased spawns" mod, zone respawn mod, and I still never run out of stims. honestly, like people have been saying, just spend the time to loot all the containers and you'll never run out - that is, of course, assuming you are spending half...

    Fallout 3 Culmination of Events

I'd definitely have to say the ending sucks for a FO game, like most of the rest of the game. As a die-hard Morrowind fan (Oblivion sucks balls), the ending sucks because there's no sandbox continuation afterwards. Honestly, Morrowind kind of had the same script for the ending, if you...

    Invisible-Game-Mechanics Related Glitches/ Overloads

I know everyone's been talking about the inability to really judge things like combat rolls and whatnot, but here's something new: Not five minutes ago, my roommate was playing FO3 on his 360, when within a four minute period, the Mysterious Stranger appeared six times in VATS. Now, talk...

    Why is there a...?

some of the music is 50's era, but some is much older. A few of the songs are 30's and 40's music. The main song for the game, 'I Don't Want to Set the World On Fire" was late 20's. And people weren't listening to 1920's or 1930's era music on the radio in the 50's.

As far as I'm concerned,Fallout 3 never happened. *spoilers*

Are you friggin' kidding me? ONE plot hole? I don't suppose you'd like to explain which hole that was? Changing gender or weapon preference does not equate to 'replay value'. And there is no good or evil. You can go back and forth every 10 minutes if you want. And let's get this straight...
