Dark Souls count I think. Also, Mad Max was fun if a bit empty, and Shadow of Mordor was very good. Just Cause 3 had poor performance and an always online leaderboard thing so that was disappointing but the game is great. I think thats it, rarely any game focuses on the right things these days...

Hard West... Its has XCOM like gameplay but is more story based.... Short and a bit clunky but I thoroughly enjoyed what I've played of it so far. There's also a fair bit of actions you take having consequences in connected campaigns...

Head canon cant fix everything, much less Bethesda. They make the small details clear so you can't imagine your own lore bt make their own lore unclear so it doesnt tell us anything... Some games are beyond saving, some companies are beyond saving, lets leave it at that

They wanted to play into the pre war thing, Bethesda really doesnt like the post apoc, they want to do pre war stuff... Look at anchorage or the cast of mothership zeta, they want to do wacky scifi 50s chaos and Fallout 4 is as close as they can get to it, ugh

You can make an ending that shows consequences too. There was a mod for NV that allows post ending gameplay with the faction you sided with in control of the mojave, but it got taken off for some reason... Theres no excuse for Bethesda dropping the ball here but DLC bait

I think Beth made all Fallout 4 endings result relatively the same so they can continue a sequel or DLC without having to work too hard... Classic Beth, no need to write a good story when you can just write 100 hours of sequel baiting

Id say a lot of the issues are from Creation too, their Gamebryo 2.0 is not capable of making Mama Murphys design form that art concept work. Or it is but the performance takes a hit. I say the same for Vertibird concepts too...
