Well look at the bright side....in all likelihood we're still going to get a PA RPG, just the way we like them, and the developers don't have to be constrained by the already existing Fallout lore. Not ideally what we want but its the next best damn thing. Might even turn out better than...

Out of curiosity, where might I find some independent games developer's works? Is there anything of any significance out there?

Cutscenes are neat the first time or two I play the game. After that I find myself hitting buttons to try and skip the cutscenes. They add plenty of value the first time or two through the game, but for people like me that play and replay and replay and replay a game they get annoying...

My point really had nothing to do with cutscenes.....I was just providing an example of 3D technology that wasn't first person or third person camera-right-behind-the-PC. It can be done and done well. Cutscenes are neat, but they're not going to make or break a game for me.
