I am playing on normal difficulty, the latest patch, and some weapons mods.I have completed three missions and am finding that my team rarely suffers casualties. The raiders can't shoot! Will the, game get more challenging as I progress? Can I change difficulty settings mid game?

I need to get into the depot and I understand I need to us the howitzer. I am trying to get the howitzer shell in the little hut, but can't open the door my lock pick skills are 22% and I have a basic lock picking kit. Any suggestions?

I completed all of the quests in the den, expect for the book return one, and would like to go to Modoc and Gecko but they are not on my map. Am i missing something do i need to talk to someone in particular any help would be appreciated!
