Is this good news for future Fallout single player mods\games?

Just bought Swan Song as after booting up F1 and F2 again I'm in a post apocolypse mood...big book...but from the reviews over at Amazon it looks like a good read. Finished WWZ last week...a good book...but not my favourite... I remember when I was about 16 reading a book called Pilgramige...

I noticed a Fallout 1\2 influence in the cars...is that Wooz's influence I wonder.

Playing F2 again and I really can't see how the current style is better than the first two games...imagine the size of the game you could make now if it had stuck to a 3d turn based game....infact I still love isometirc views as you don't have to fiddle around with the camera... I tried F3...

Anyone know of any mods in the making for the game...such a shame it isn't more well known as it has great rpomise...especially for a fallout mod.

I really enjoyed Bioshock...for me it's been one of the best FPS games I've played.

I have a tribesman but can't remember his name and a dog at the moment...not at my home PC so can't find out the tribesmans name...he was given to me after attacking and wiping out a tribe..

Have any of you thought about doing a Fallout mod using Jagged Alliance 2 1.13? I imagine it would be painstaking work but I do believe some of it has been done and is available over at The Bear Pit...(I think it's included in a JA2 mod)... JA2 would be a superb engine for a Fallout...

Whoops I made a thread about this the other day..didn't see this....will get into it after I finsih Fallout 2 restoration game. Whats the derfflinger patch? Will it mess the english translation of I use it?

Yeah click on each...you will see the map light up yellos to reds where ebcounters are...just right click on them and they go away... Awaken mod is on this forum...it's excellent and makes the game abit more like an rpg...just abit though.

Whoops...I did it for the Awaken mod which puts a bos.cam file in the campaign directory......the original FT dpesn't seem to have a bos.cam file....sorry....someone lese may be able to help.
