Pretty much the same as me mate, but i got the high res file installed and it still didn't work when i switched the game to 16bit colour.

I can't download DirectDraw from anywhere. So do you have any other piece of advice to give me ?

Hi, I've just joined. I just bought Fallout on steam, i have been having problems with the graphics, the graphics are a rainbow colour, i have tried all sorts! I have installed the High res pack but when i turn it to 16 bit in the console and then i turn it off and on but the screen goes black...
