I'm trying to edit the NPCs in Fallout 2 RP v2.1.2b, but for some reason FUCK won't read or edit the files correctly. It always says "Error Reading pro_crit.msg!" I couldn't figure out how to get it to work a year or two ago and forgot about it. I'd like to get it working now. Can anyone help me...
Oh well, it didn't work. I guess the RP Mod isn't compatible with it. It is a rather old file after all. I really wish someone would update this stuff. :(
Thanks! :D
Now can someone PLEASE put those instructions in the vehicle download area? I'm sure tons of others have had the same problem. I can't believe those files have been there nearly four years and no instructions have been posted up.
I've downloaded three different car mod replacements for Fallout 2, and NONE OF THEM for some reason have any instructions. I've tried installing the file in a bunch of different folders and I haven't figured it out yet. Can someone please help me and explain how to install the car replacement...
I'm using 2.1.1 and I'd like to know if I just use the old version of Unlimited Party Mod or will it screw something up? I downloaded it last year... I think it was the newest version then, if there was a newest version.
Also, I wanted to know if there's a mod that will make use out of that...
Is there an unlimited party mod that works with this mod, or can I just use the old one? Also, will it screw anything up you guys have done? Like make the AI for the party members better? (Like not going full auto through the entire group to shoot an enemy? I really hope you guys fixed that.)
Why? More functions because its a real paint program, not some freebee peice of crap that came with windows, its very easy to use, and I have 5, 7, and 8. I also have Photoshop 5 and 6.
I think the way your program is loading and saving those pictures is corrupting the colors. I saved the explosive rocket as bmp as a test, then blew it up in Paint Shop Pro, and it has bright green dots on it. I think its still messing up. :( Sorry to tell you this.
I've already tried loading that with three different versions of Paint Shop Pro, and I always get "This is not a valid pallet file". I meant to ask about that earlier, but I forgot to mention it. Is it just an old version of that file format?
Crap... the way I thought I found to convert an frm to a bmp, isn't working. I tried to save the pallet used by a picture I got from F2Wedit.... but when I tried to apply it to an already existing F2 explosive rocket, it ruined the picture. *sigh* There HAS got to be an F2 pallet SOMEWHERE...
