Thanks for the tip. I actually did uninstall the high resolution patch and that seemed to cool the computer down a significant amount. So I think I'm going to settle for the lower resolution as that seems to make things more quiet. Anyway, thanks for the help guys. :)

Yes, I do indeed mean the high resolution patch, and I apologize if I posted this in the wrong section of the forum. The mods/patches I have installed are Killap's unofficial patch (ver. 1.02.27.3) and Mash's High Resolution patch (v.3.0.6), in that order. I also have the latest drivers, as well...
