Thanks for the response Darek. I checked what you said. Both folders and its contents were set to read only. Also both .lst files were there. As I am unsure if they are correct I will do a quick reinstall which is no sweat off of my back. Again thank you.

Ok. I am running WinXP pro sp2, Pen II 249 MHz,with 640 MB RAM. Graphics card is ATI "3D RAGE PRO AGP 2X" with 4.0 mb of memory. The game is English US version updated to 1.2 ( I have killap's mod installed BUT! this error happened before when I didn't have it installed so it is not caused...
