Interplay not finishing the Fallout MMO? Well color me surprised! (I'd go back and find my predictions, but to be honest, I cant be asked).

Wow. Just wow. You guys would rather see this and loose any chance of actually seeing a Fallout MMO? You guys simply hate Bethesda beyond any level of sensibility.

And Interplay are still worthy? You all seem to have forgotten .... a) They sold the IP to Bethesda in the first place, and b) HERVE! All this is going to achieve is the permanent death of a Fallout MMO. Interplay don't have the ability to pull anything off .... except perhaps dragging...

I enjoyed the old Fallout games ( ... that BoS game not included). I even enjoyed Fallout 3 ... ... but even I'm shaking my head in disbelief at this one.

Two words: Ewe Bolls. Damn ... I can't believe I sat through Alone in the Dark. The only excuse I have is that I was probably too stunned to move.

Absolutely 100% agree. Why drag down Masthead's game ... which incidentally actually looks like it has promise as a product able to stand on it's own two legs!

Seriously folks. Interplay made a desperate grab for ANYTHING they could afford that was in development, simply to make sure they didn't loose the license. Surely nobody here REALLY thought this game was going to be a Fallout Online, did they?

Just because it's not Bethesda doesn't mean it's going to be a Fallout game. There is more than enough Bethesda hate here for people to think that's the case ... and frankly it's just wishful thinking. It's not even a isometric game point an click game! Interplay have just lept on the...

Thank goodness one of the original devs has come out and said it. Thought I can see that the naysayers are already claiming he's been bought out .... just like 90% of all the reviewers out there. :roll:

LOL! Even for someone like myself who likes FO3, this piece amused me. I kept looking for the "gotcha" at the end .... but it never came. I think the writer actually believed what he was saying. Everyone has their right to like or loathe FO3. It's their opinion ... and everyone's...

Don't like it? Just don't buy it. Simple. Actually it amazes me that anyone here bought FO3 at all.

Quite correct. WoW was not the first MMORPG and Blizzard have copied mechanics from many games that preceded it ... and even copied mechanics that have come out subsequently, and incorporated them into the WoW expansions ... however Blizzard also have a knack of polishing those mechanics and...

Ack ... that reminded me of that the Centari Emperor gone mad in Babylon 5. That's just a bit wrong.
