How about metal armour with spikes gives greater defence vs. unarmed/melee by inflicting damage on attacker (an increase of melee critical fail chance?) or cripples/damages attackers hands on a luck and perception check fail? It would make sense that hitting a pointed spike straight on hurts...

in the freeform "Slave Hunt" quest i lockpicked Sister's room and waited for him to go to sleep, i killed him with my ripper but i dont remmember the karma reward. later on Mei Wong was telling me that Sister had been killed... i only mention because this alternative was not mentioned.

this was great and made me... laugh out loud. too bad none of the fallout 3 "humour" was this funny.

I realise that Beth has rushed the game release and many of the locations are well underdeveloped for a "rpg", my favourite being the "Gary" vault but at the same time I am hopeful that the "Glittering gems of hatred" will at some time in the hopefully not to distant future precipitate...

Maybe the perk can cause you to shoot out PedoBears instead of regular ammo bears, the only ammo to harm kids in Oblivion with gunz.
