    Stellaris thread, reviews, and opinions!

I have the DLC and played a fair bit of it so far. I haven't experienced many bugs, though planet spawning seems off for some of the new ones and continentals. The DLC has leviathans which kick your ass early to mid game and require large fleets to take on. The enclaves are pretty cool but...

Gwent Is being made for online.

Not sure if anyone noticed but on Friday CDPR is hosting a Kill The Server closed server test. You can find relevant information here https://www.playgwent.com/en/killtheservers From what I understand they are allowing people, who get a certain code, to play the game before the real closed beta...

    Worst Youtube Let's Play/Reviewer

I don't normally hate any youtuber, just move on and never give them views. Though I do have ones I dislike so very much; Angry Joe, PauseUnpause, PaladinV0ci, and I swear there were others that I can't remember. Angry Joe I dislike for his shitty hispanic thing he tries to do and just...

    Stellaris thread, reviews, and opinions!

Those Enclaves look bad ass, definitely looking forward to that. I would expect them to fairly rare as to not unbalance the game so it would take a while to find one I assume. Perhaps they will have a special marker for the system they are in otherwise I will forget about it. The free update...

    Stellaris thread, reviews, and opinions!

It does feature a smaller questline about a precursor civilization and when you find all the placed artifacts you get a little bit of narrative and a reward based on said civilization. Other than that there is nothing that I can think other than a few randomized events based on ethics and...

    Stellaris thread, reviews, and opinions!

The new expansion looks very promising. Been keeping up with the recent dev diaries and they are making several interesting changes. I hope the expansion isn't too pricey, maybe around 10-15 dollars hopefully.

When the Institute started digging their underground haven...

Fair enough I suppose. Eh settlements are fine, you just have to throw that suspension of belief out the window and make sure the garbage truck destroys it. I quite like the thought that you more of help these people build this stuff not you magically pull a wood floor out of your ass with a...

When the Institute started digging their underground haven...

Not trying g to defend Bethesda and their stupidity but that is more of a gameplay element than a lore issue. It's intended to allow you to keep building in settlements without going and wasting time looting everything in a building.

When the Institute started digging their underground haven...

The robots would come after the main tunnel digging is done. What I am wondering is where does all that dirt go? Either they somehow fashion it into some material to make their stuff out of or some magic plot hole makes it disappear. If I remember right the basement door from inside the CIT...

When the Institute started digging their underground haven...

As far as I can tell, it is never fully explained. It just sort of... happened, you know? Since they had actually robot synths they could have made them into worker bots and equipped them with shovels or drills as hands, something to speed up digging. I'm sure initially it was a bunch of science...

    Game engines

You know I just remembered, Humble Bundle is doing another GameMaker bundle. Here's the link for that: https://www.humblebundle.com/gamemaker-bundle Gamemaker is intended for 2D games as you said you wanted to make. So $15 for a simple engine and a few games with their source code included...

    Dishonored 2

I am excited for it too. Against better judgement, I pre-ordered the collector edition which comes with that cool Corvo Mask. I only made this decision after they showed that bit of gameplay at E3 which looked promising.

    Game engines

As far as I know, Unity and Unreal are the go to at the moment. Unity has a free version and I believe Unreal's full version is free, which has a condition for payment after you make a game and sell a certain amount. I used Unity back in version 4 which I liked quite a bit, allows you to do...

    Xcom 2 ?

The final planned DLC was released today (or yesterday depending on how you look at it) Shen's Last Gift. https://xcom.com/news/en-shens-last-gift-comes-to-xcom-2 I haven't played the game since before the first DLC so I am starting again so I can play both this and Alien Hunters. I guess this...

About The Elder Scroll Online's subscription...

That is false, you can buy them without owning the subscription. You need to invest in some crowns first (the ingame currency used to buy stuff from the crown store like cosmetics and the like, not actual gameplay money) and then you can buy them from the crown store. I just looked and they...
