    Todd Howard questionnaire at Next-Gen

I would. I don't know why, because I agree. I'd rather the series die than its legacy be constantly befouled by designers/developers who figure they can scrape up some more cash with their digital vomit by attaching recognized names to it.

    Michael McCarthy's Isometric Turn-Based Action-RPG

Steam "1st person is great for running around and blowing your friends, but for single player games it's just not my thing." I bet his LAN parties are a riot!

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Website Online

Re: Performance? I did have the NOCD crack, which while still inexcusable, did in fact make my framerate go up 200 percent. So, in some spots, I went from a framerate of 7-8, to around 14-16. Fantastic performance!

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Website Online

Performance? I remember that before Morrowind came out, all sorts of folks on the net were praising screenshots from it, using terms such as "gorgeous", "stunning", "fantastic", etc. And at the time I agreed. Then, however, I played the actual game and in my opinion discovered the...

Surprise - a talk with Leon!

The engine seems capable of producing some quality visuals. I like it. Nice interview Leonard -- you seem like you've a kick-ass standpoint on games/RPGs in general. I know I'll certainly be keeping an eye out for Troika's further details on the game.

    Feargie shows his profile

...yeah You know, I'm sorry but that final little comment there from Feargie is just ridiculous. Of course we'd all *LOVE* to support a Fallout game. Seriously, we would. I'm not made of money. Spending $50 on a game that's a pile of shit, to MAYBE get the game I really wished I had...

Leonard Boyarsky mentions Troika's Post-Apocolyptic Game

Cthulhu/engine? I had thought that the Call of Cthulhu game was using the NetImmerse (Renderware?) engine? I don't know if they used that particular engine to make this sorcerer game, but if it is, then said game engine has been used to make other projects/games as well. And is Bethesda...

    IPLY the shell

Sandcastles There once was a fantastic sandcastle -- magnificent, it was, there on the beach, it's sanded spires stretching out a most majestic fashion. One day, this rotting festering CUNT of a man came and vomited all over it, belly-flopping his sweaty blubbering bulk right down on top of...

    Feargus Urquhart interview at GameSpot

He says it himself... See, this is what I don't understand. Wait, that's not true, I do understand. Having the license for Fallout, I'm sure, elicits a "great, now let me put my OWN twist on how I think Fallout should be" sort of response, as a developer. I can understand the want or...

Sean K. Reynolds interview at DAC

Bozar..? Hmm, I was thinking a critical hit to the eyes with the Super Sledge. I always loved the super long "fallout slide" effect where bodies would glide slowly and peacefully along rock studded dirt/sand, over little bushes, to a distance of some 40 feet, until the ends of their feet...

    Troika's PA RPG shots!!

In motion... I like the look and feel of the 2D background w/ 3D players objects too. But ... ... for those of you who haven't seen it, I really wish I could show you Silent Storm in game (in motion). The graphics were really quite detailed, blended well together, and provided all the...

    Staying true to Fallout

There was certainly room for some tweaks and changes to it, but the best implementation of TB I've played with in QUITE a long time was in Silent Storm. I can only imagine a game with that engine, that amount of destructibility, and TB combat options (moreso?), but with the RPG elements...

    Fallout Unlimited/Zero

How? Oh, sorry -- change the word game to 'engine' in my original post. But saying, "Is this guy nuts?" just seemed to have more of a negative/scathe sort of vibe to it rather than simply 'wonderment'. I apologize if I misinterpreted it as such.

    Fallout Unlimited/Zero

... What a fantastic reaction to something someone made, for free, that they are hoping you will enjoy. Oh you're right -- someone used Visual Basic: dear God, they didn't use l33t C++ skills, so immediately tear him down! Why even make a comment like that? I don't care if it was...

    Pete Hines Talks to IGN
