    Wasteland?

Anyone Remember Wasteland? Haha, a cookie to everybody who knows what that's from. Anyway, it's been an awful long time and all that. So, hello everybody. I've decided to play Wasteland again just to kill some time between my job search and moving. I'm looking for a Wasteland character...

    The end of Fallout3...again

Hmm, on a more upbeat side. Brian Fargo has started his own company, InXile (sp?) and has purchased the rights to Wasteland. Fear not, my children! We shall find salvation in the one. He is risen again!

    JE's obsession

I have to disagree with you there. I can assure you that by having only one marksmanship skill, there is a fundamental difference already between Fallout 3 and it's predecessors. Basically, JE Sawyer--being dead-set against a gun-based game--has either a) forced a combat player to be an...

    Deus Ex

When I bought my computer, Giants Citizen Kabuto and Deus Ex were part of the bonus software package, but I never played them. Can anybody give me a rundown on what the game is about? I was under the impression that it was a Diablo clone.

    Religion

I'm a die-hard agnostic. I *know* that one cannot "know" God. In that respect, I find the arrogance of Man to be the greatest sin of all.

    What's Your Favourite Movie?

I think you mean that Gizmo looked like the fat trader with the glass on his skull. :)

People you just really wanna punch!

Actually, you can't really punch them for that. The 27th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution prohibits Congress from voting their own pay raises. This, of course, is assuming you meant the United States Congress.

Seeing How there will be less firearm ammo how about

Heh, if they keep placing the timeline after each previous Fallout, then yes. Of course, if they do that, eventually they'll find themselves back in a post-apocalyptic 20th Century society--just like it was before the bombs fell.

    NPC in Van Buren

Actually, the NPC's do have different locations at different times. There were a few, like Renesco and the Shi arms dealers in Fallout 2. On the other hand, you couldn't buy items at New Reno Arms during the evening, and sneaking in to steal Westin's heart medication was best suited for the...

    More about unarmed combat

I don't mind the Mortal Kombat aspect of the game. What I dislike is that Unarmed is being highly developed at the expense of the firearms skills (I'm sure everybody knows what my opinions are about the "marksmanship" skill).

JE talks about VB's target audience

I'd say the most important thing is that he doesn't plan to let anything go from the turn-based aspect. So long as that happens, it's a valid business venture for them. He won't lose the turn-based fans like us, and BIS will add the console fanboys--maybe even convert a few. If it's...

JE talks about VB's target audience

Very true. However, it seems to me that Sawyer's really been getting a huge bug up his ass lately. It seems that when people disagree with his opinions, he gets very pissed off about it. I pick and choose my battles, and I only found one which I thought was worth fighting over (that stupid...

Repair (Engineering), Science and Unarmed. Traits: Gifted, Good Natured (for the most part!)

Seeing How there will be less firearm ammo how about

Ever read about JE Sawyer's ideas? It's almost a given at this point that his "combo moves" are going to turn Fallout 3 into a Mortal Kombat Adventure game..
