    I lived in 3 countries located in South America and Europe and it's the exact same shit. In fact, I would venture to say it's like that in MOST countries all over the world. I always vote 3rd party but if just a few people do it, it's of no use.

    With 400 bucks you can upgrade to a very good rig. DO NOT go to the dark side! Get a good cheap video card (8800 GTS 512 or ATI 4850), another gig of RAM, a quadcore AMD processor, and a cheap mobo to mount it all on and you're set!

    Dirt cheap video cards

    Go for the 8800 GTS, but ONLY the 512mb version, as it is superior to the other GTS, all the GT and it matches (even sometimes outmatches) the GTX.
