I picked up Modern Warfare when I got the 360 over Christmas, and although my buddies have gone through numerous games, they all tell me they wish they would've kept MW. That's telling me it was a damn good game. On the other hand, I bought Fallout 3 for computer the first week it was out...

A guy in one of my classes and I brought up the subject of forming national identity by giving citizens a "boogey man" to focus on. The problem with the "War on Terror" is that it doesn't follow its name. The "War on Terror" should be a war of idealogies, we should be trying to shape hearts...

Is there any way to pick off enemies from extremely long distances with one shot criticals? I remember in Fallout 2 I could get some pretty long range shots going on.

EnablePlayerControls works at this point, but I'm not sure if this problem is effecting other characters or just me. Game crashed shortly after "unsticking" myself. :rolleyes:

I'm have this same issue, except turning collision off only allows me to "walk up" or "walk down" on a plane, but not away from my starting point. It's as though I'm stopped from "walking" all together.

Ok, say that was the problem with being able to see the HUD. But then why am I stuck at 1) Right outside the door at Ft. Bannister 2) Everywhere else I fast travel to I'm more concerned with my inability to move than the HUD.

I was at the Talon base/fort or whatever, went in the back door, came out the front, and now I'm stuck there without a HUD. Reloading doesn't do anything and when I fast travel, I just end up without a HUD and stuck someplace else. I'd go to a previous save point but my nearest AutoSave is...

Got "the gun" and continued around, killing the behemoth (from outside his pen), found Vault 102, the stuff that goes along with that...and now I'm on to Rivet City. Weee...still at level 5!

Ya...I'm barely at level 6 and I'm following Dad to Rivet City.

I already took out everyone outside. I'm in the Bazaar, milling right along.

I know I'll find out later on, but I wanna know now. He's locked up, and I think it should stay that way. Advice? Level 5 and tearing up with the sledge.

I was curious. What all can you do accidentally, or on purpose, that can really mess up the plot? Example : By killing someone too early in the game you can't talk to other people later, which keeps you from doing certain quests, which keeps you from talking to other people...and...

lets say somebody dies, and everybody in towns notices. When they are reasurected, does everybody in town now realize they are alive? For instance...I'm having an issue where I can kill a bunch of Talon Gang dudes, but one of them kills the gaurd in Aryefu. When he dies, the rest of the...

I accidentally ran into these guys, but I'm not quite sure I've got the levels to handle them. I got lucky by getting them to come inside then blasting them with a flamer, but one was outside killing King, so that was worthless. So when are you guys encountering the Talon crew?
