SW: KOTOR 2 wasn't really buggy if I remember correctly but story-wise it was cut short big time... New Vegas was good overall but the end game seemed truncated big time.
IMO voice acting has its place, I'd say, in a GTA type game or anything fairly linear or presented in a cinematic style. It works for Mass Effect since that game just has a basic "A or B" path.

Well on that not how about some of the SIerra games like Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis or King's Quest VI. Linear but fun to figure out some of the puzzles and clues.
On an unrelated note I really like the look of the train engine "fortress". Would've been a cool type of Fallout villain/faction, one that travels around on a train or something where the hero has to "hijack" it old west style. Dunno just spitballing on a hungover Sunday :)
Well the question is what should a semi-3d version of Wasteland look like? It seems this is left to a lot of interpretation when you have to base it off of an 8-bit game. Or maybe in a way people want this to be the Van Buren that never was. Do we really want nothing more than just a Fallout...
