update: i managed to fix it thank goodness, i just reinstalled the vanilla game, moved my saves over and calculator's lair loaded like a charm, then all i did was make a save and went back to my FOT redux installation and as of now im crash-less again

im finally at the calculator's lair mission in tactics and near the end, but everytime i enter the exit grid in vault 0 the game CTD's as soon as the mission loads. is there any fix to this? im also using the fallout tactics redux mod if that'll help

So im very new to Fallout 2 and its mods and while i installed the megamod correctly to my knowledge i was wondering if im supposed to run it through a specific application in order to play the megamod (Fallout2launcher.exe, Fallout2HR.exe, etc.) or if that simply doesnt matter?
