Enclave in FO2 weren't THAT bad if you had 150% small guns + gauss rifle and aimed for the eyes. It was those blasted ignore armor shots that made them a real threat.

I've been playing for over 7 hours and for me it's safe to say Fallout 3 is an awesome game. While everyone says it's Oblivion with Guns some parts do remind me of the old games. I'll be playing for looong time. Props to Beth for making a great RPG :). Btw will Fallout 1 and 2 come to Steam...

Have you guys ever had one live stick of dynamite in your inventory, and then walked past the den kids that steal from you? Good times. I'm not even sure if that makes you a childkiller.

So I started a game in Fallout 1 today and I realized critical hits = IGNORE ARMOR. That's SHIT game design, they better not include this in Fallout 3. Example: With the best armor in the game super mutants will either do no damage or 188004. Combat balance was never Fallout's strong point eh?

You seem to be forgetting you can miss while in VATS and enemies can "super shot" you as well. Often using vats = a single or multiple normal attack(s).

Maybe they're saving the good voice acting for the more important characters. The father's voice acting wasn't all too bad.

Except for the fuck-ton of bugs. People have to realize games with a huge explorable environment (Fallout 3 included) almost always include a ton of bugs.

Oblivion was made a shit-load better with mods, so I'm expecting good things with Fallout 3.

I'm just curious, how many of you guys will actually buy Fallout 3? I'll probably give it a try first and if it's decent game I'll buy it.. but I'll always consider it a spin-off. You'd have to be a fool to think Bethesda would create a "true" Fallout game, since the original series has been...

In FO1+2 I couldn't resist rushing to the power-armor because it's so damn effective. I like how in FO3 there is a level requirement, it will definitely make the game more of a challenge. You'll have to work your way up instead of rushing then going back and completing all the quests you skipped.

As I read more of these, FO3 seems to get better and better, not the other way around. Definitely getting this game.

What if the teddy bear were filled with rocks and screws instead of cotton? I mean it can't be that hard to weaponize a teddy bear.
