I think the 'corruption' of this world is a deception. The media coverage these days make sure you know every negative thing that has happened. It's all relative.

They did waste the time doing 1 intelligence conversations, I think they could still be able to intergrate the multiple race feature into the game. But as it's a 3D game, we will be able to customise our character easily enough, so I don't think it matters much.

Back to the title of thread... A particle collider will create a mini-black hole that will slowly suck up the planet. OR When nano-bots break their programming and start reproducing at an alarming rate, the world would be a silver sea of them and life would eventually die when we can't...

Pace on the world map is controlled by the terrain you are on. Flat land faster than mountains etc. Maybe you have a high outdoorsman skill, or have selected one of the perks that makes your char go round the world map quicker. Maybe your mouse sensitivity is at it's highest and it suggests...
