    Paris attacks - ongoing

It wouldn't ever get that far between nuclear powers simply because THAT would be the likely outcome. For all of the near misses we had in the cold war had nuclear weapons never been invented or widely adopted amongst super powers WWIII would have happened by now along with numerous smaller...

How Many Units Would You Say Fallout 1+2 Sold?

The original Fallout was one of the most 'torrented' games at one point wasnt it? I'm sure I remember reading an NMA News story on here telling as much a few years ago.

    Mad Max "Gameplay" Trailer

For whatever reason (I dont want to get too into without offending people) the American public on the whole seem to have a hard time 'grasping' or 'connecting' with media that isnt set in the United States.

    Should Britain Leave the EU?

The EU has meddled in plenty of UK internal policies - the power has been slowly taken away from our elected governments and is ever so slowly shifting over to Brussels. Take a look at the way Greece has been treated with its bailout. My point still stands however, the British public voted...

    Should Britain Leave the EU?

1975 EEC referendum. 65% turnout with 60% approval. I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just saying the British people were given a chance to show their opinion, and voted for the EEC. Of course, it wasn't the EU back then... You've said it yourself the EEC wasn't the EU it was a common trade...

    Should Britain Leave the EU?

It's very complicated issue here in the UK, most of the Euro-Sceptics within the UK are calling for a debate on the issue yet the Euro supporters stand in the way telling us everything is fine and that there really is no need for a debate. The problem we have is most of the British public...

    Should Britain Leave the EU?

The problem with the EU issue in the UK is its becoming more then a common market, it is becoming more of a single federal state - democracy being centralised and removed from member nations. In my opinion there should be a sensible debate within the UK and a referendum take place as to our...

    Should Britain Leave the EU?

Well the debate is raging ever onwards over Britains continued membership with the EU. The political party who's advocated the UK leaving the Common Market has gained numerous seats across counties and councils across the country. I was wondering what NMA'ers take on the issue was, my...

    Best Alien/ Scifi movies?

Amazing film Outland - again highly under-rated I actually consider it to be in the same universe as Alien - it feels almost exactly the same in setting. Connery plays a good part aswell.

    Best Alien/ Scifi movies?

Sunshine is a very good little sci fi, really enjoyed it in the cinema when it came out.

    The Iron Lady.

It's the same today though isnt it? We can spend billions on a nuclear deterance that we don't need, millions on a state funeral over half of the country didnt want and still pay out 'expenses' worth hundreds of thousands to self made millionaires who supposedly represent the people but the...

    Best Alien/ Scifi movies?

An underrated film but 'Pitch Black' is a fairly competent monster/alien movie. Not so much an alien film but 'Event Horizon' is again underrated and is easily by far Paul W S Anderson's best work - easily (mainly because everything else he's ever directed is utter shite.)

    Bombs over Boston

Is it unfair? It's quite a widely reported issue internationally, as this report shows I'm not turning this into an American bashing thread, but many nations see the US as quite 'closed off' to the rest of the world. This raises it's head more when you discover only around 35% of the US...

    Bombs over Boston

Does this surprise anyone? For such a wealthy and large place the US is quite insular and very ignorant to the world outside of it's own Borders. Perhaps more so then anyother western nation.
