    GMail

yeah, I got it too- pretty cool, but I haven't found a way to separate conversations.. also, the names don't change on the conversations when you update the contact list. I guess it's still beta. 1 gig, and free- can't complain. And the text ads are all computer generated- no privacy issues...

Sean K Reynolds interview at Gamebanshee

Eh? They were separate statements- hence the space. And I was calling Sean an asshole because of what he said in the interview. It's not that hard to understand.

Sean K Reynolds interview at Gamebanshee

What an asshole. And this was the guy in charge of the 'continuity of the game universe'. Glad that's (hopefully) out of his hands. Megatron- awesome pic...

News from the Interplay stock holder's meeting

Did Herve (or whoever) answer any direct questions regarding why Interplay was lending to Titus while they were strapped for cash?

WHat if you were one of the 400 richest?

I think I read a follow-up which said that Bill Gates was in fact the richest man, because they confirmed that he had donated his IKEA shares. Can't find it anymore though.

    DUPONT TO CUT 3500 JOBS!

I could be way off, but I wonder why there haven't been personal financial risk sharing instruments or contracts yet. People with jobs with similar wages in industries whose fortunes are negatively correlated with each other could enter into a contract to swap a portion of their salaries for a...

    For the religious people here

Scientific theories should not be used to disprove the existence of God, because the burden of proof is on the believers. They are useful for rebuking the "evidence" that there is one, or the claims that certain things happened specifically in a certain way. I don't see what the problem is...

    DUPONT TO CUT 3500 JOBS!

In the university dorms we weren't allowed to unclog our own toilets (under penalties of fines) because it was a union job. :D

    T H E V E N U S P R O J E C T

It's pretty silly. Assuming there are enough natural resources and the means to get them for everyone to live comfortably, assuming AI and technologies can make all the good decisions and take all the 'boring jobs', assuming people are fine with that, assuming this is possible without a massive...

    Movie thread

Argh, ever since I moved from the US, I haven't seen any movies, because there seems to be a four month delay in releasing things. Anyone know if Hellboy is any good? The previews looked kinda lame, but I heard it was a good series, and hey, it's Ron Perlman.

    For the religious people here

@Sander- exactly what I was going to say, but you said it better than I could have. @Luke- The good/bad thing for atheists is that we WILL know if we're wrong and there's a penalty, just not if we're right :) . Anyway, this problem (structured slightly differently) has been given the...
