Why would the same not be applicable to dialogue?

Just thought this was worth sharing. While I understand how difficult that genuine, immersive, and hardcore role-playing itch can be to scratch, me thinks the issue lies here: "Role-Playing Games." One has to decide what that term means and what is to be expected of a title bearing its stigma...
