    Vault 11...do you think *spoilers*

What bugged me, was that they didn't start a rigorous breeding programme. If you know that you will lose one dweller each year, you could easily compensate (in say a population of 150 -200) and let the oldest one go "into the light". Sustainable forever.

The verdict on Caesar's Legion (minor early-game spoilers)?

They ARE grey. Listing the Taliban as non-grey is simply wrong. Every organisation/viewpoint makes sense and is good or normal from a specific perspective. Just as a western democracy can be seen as an incarnation of evil from a medieval tribal perspective in Afghanistan. People are just...

    JE Sawyer Formsprings #10

Hooked fan since the original. New Vegas is the best rpg experience in a fukcing long time. Love most of the dialogue. Many features added, that create immersion like cooking, needing to eat, drink and sleep. Wonderful quests and locations, that offer twists and turns. Good to see a strong...

So, uh, did anyone like it?

yeah.. i succumbed to buying it. i bought it, because i expected a little bit of rpg for those cold winter nights. got started a week ago and never got further than leaving the fault. baseball-bashed my way out, got slight motion sickness from the lackluster 3d enviroment and lost interest...

    Impressions thread for negative impressions

    Fallout 3 reviews, hype, thoughts?

i enjoyed your write-up. this is the honest and insightful kind of critique needed, to make informed purchasing decisions. weapons wear and tear: weapons wear and tear generally is ridiculous in shooters, that do implement this aspect. programmers cannot differentiate between servicing a...

    Radiation and Half-Lifes

very interesting. but why is it safe in hiroschima today, if cobalt 60 is such an issue? since surely there is uranium residue around the bomb site, any metal would get that cobalt 60 going.

Would you have accepted it as a Spin-Off?

Apocalyptic Oblivion...any day. any interest in fallout-like atmosphere (or rather setting) is good.

Imagination - The cornerstone of Fallout's Universe.

to tell someone "to go away" because he thinks differently, is weak. only through different opinions is discussion and thought fuelled. i've ordered the game and expect very little RPG. alone the thought of having to start as a 18 year or so brat is making me shudder (40 years of age in...

    Roleplaying

i read some of the stuff. actually quite funny. reminds me of my son. give him anything longer than a toothbrush in his hand and he will be facing the baddies in a shoot-out or slicing them up with a laser sword. the power of imagination. hell, we don't even need the game. we can all just...

    Gripes about the writing

when i ordered the game this morning, i was interested to see what other amazon buyers thought of the game. i was quite astounded to read, that some where actually complaining about the tedious text they had to plough through and how boring and slow the whole thing was. quite amazing... there...

    Raven Rock

ouch...that was harsh. just ordered the game some hours ago. my roleplaying expectations have dropped another two notches.

NMA article: My Fallout 3 adventures!

you obviously need to polish your reading skills. the article is funny, critical, yet still manages to create an appetizing feedback. this is the first write-up to the game, that is actually making me consider buying it.

Fallout 3. Is it really so bad?

exactly how i feel. the more console, the more pirating, the less pc, the less intelligent games become, the less my preferences are catered for.

    Fargo clarifies

woah  that is indeed fantastic news. Forget Bard´s Tale. That was a lesson learned. We´re moving on to something I´ve been yearning for, for a very long time. :boy:
