    Pete Hines on negativity

lovely constructive argument there. As far as i'm concerned he has made alot of sense. People that dont like the game will say "i dont like it, hines dont care that i dont like it, i dont like hines" People that do like the game will say "i like the game, hines makes sense, i like...

    5 new gameplay videos

after reading many "sigh" comments or "i'm disgusted" and really really really bad sarcasitc comments (that are not funny.....in any way possible, seriously give up the comedy angle. Its simply not working for you) from the usual suspects i'm still happy with it. I think it looks pretty good...

    Fallout 3 at LGC: IGN

anyway...steering the debate towards a serious topic. Its good news, i wasnt looking forward to forking out another 400 on a gfx card to be able to play it to a good standard. I would have liked to see this on video, im wondering the queued attacks had any effect on the dog in terms of...

    Eurogamer interviews Pete Hines

You really need to find something else to get "bugged" about, maybe something more important? First of all "old school" to me just means old and outdated. However I wont complain if its done good and works well with the style of play. The stuff about the "trying to be everything and not...

    Fallout 3 screenshots galore

Totally agree there mate, i think the game all in all looks quite like a expected it to. Nothing ground breaking but nothing nasty or that would "make me wanna puke" like another guy said. (which is probably a tad too far, infact very very far. Quite silly really) Considering how Oblivion...

Fallout 3 QA guy on subject of "200 years later"

i think certain medicine can last quite a bit, as long as its not things like oils, liquids, insulin ect then i think most are safe to use. The military have an invested interest in drug life because of their turnover so i think they test for that sorta shit. 20 years? maybe. 200? thats...

Fallout 3 QA guy on subject of "200 years later"

I dont think it takes a genius to tie up any loose ends and fix any discrepencies with the story. A little time and effort and all will be good. I think they should allow you to visit the old locations just to give a feeling of nostalgia and maybe incorporate that into the "tieing up" story...

    New Gameplay video

I was thinking the exact same thing... Anywaysey, the trailer looked good, i like the feel of openess it gave and the feeling of bleakness and destruction too. Graphics looked just as i expected so no surprises there. All in all pretty pleased.

    Bit-tech interviews Pete

Eyenixon, fair enough, i kinda misinterpreted your points. I dont know the inner workings of game design because i never looked it up or taken it as a career so i dont think i can argue with any of your comment. I would hope that story was more central to RPG's though, i never remember games...

    Bit-tech interviews Pete

I disagree, a flashy game with great mechanics and great graphics doesnt make a good game. Imagine MGS without the story line and you'll see my point. (its not techincally a "traditional" rpg but still makes my point) If a story is weak and unbelievebale not to mention told badly then it...

    Bit-tech interviews Pete

I dont know if stories arent their "thing". I think its more of the type of story, i mean no matter how good a love story is, i'm just not gonna like it. It simple doesnt appeal to me. Kinda like with demons/underworlds and the like. It really takes a very very strong story to keep me...

    Bit-tech interviews Pete

wow everyones getting so worked up! hes an idiot, move on. Anyway, I always said he doesnt have the social skills to participate in these inteviews, he doesnt think before he speaks and conciquently constantly chooses the wrong words. i think hes going for the whole "normal guy" thing...

aenemic answered that perfectly. I’m not sure how acquainted you are with "cities" or "towns" but they tend to be safer than usual and thus have a higher population. When you get lots of people you usually get culture hence music ect. Anyway long winded comment short. Radio stations

    1. V.A.T.S. - I dont think the targeting system will have much effect on the "immershun" of the game, if it was a problem then its purely bad design. If you hate it that much then simply dont use it. 2. Level design. Copy and paste. - I didnt know i was talking to someone whos played through...

MGS4? Quick illustration: MGS4 You hide in the corner. Military patrol comes along. You sneeze when they're within earshot - they are alerted, you may or may not be found. I dont think its too much to ask from a next-gen game, considering its already been done. Not to mention MGS3...
