    I'm not an expert on this but what you seem to have killed was his scripted animation. If you want him dead you'll have to shoot him while he is stationary either in his bazar bar or on the carlin ranch. My guess. Something similar happened to me outside the Abbey where you have to apprehend...

    I personally never had crashes during combat, despite having the FO1 sounds installed in 2.0. But what I have done in RP2.0 and 2.1 is I increased the maximum simultaneous sound effects allowed in ddraw.ini because I had problems with some combat sounds not being played. Maybe that's the cause...

    I think i had the same bug. I was able to solve the mine problem, but later i couldn't confront francis about the missing people and i didn't bother to report this because Killap has released a patch dealing with a francis issue and whatnot since then i assumed this has been fixed.
