FO2 is loose with cannon so I don't really see why everyone gets up in arms about this being the case in FO3. Cracks start to appear straight after the first game and that's to be expected. New contributors were brought in...time had passed...the proof reading was probably not high up the 'to...
Out of all the DLC released so far I have not downloaded a single one. This does not look too bad however. Yeah, it doesn't fit but then nothing fits with the original, as this forum has discussed to death. If the writing can match the detail of Dark Corners then it could be a worthwhile...
I think that people (new and old) need to remember that this is a FALLOUT fan site. Thats all things fallout including 3 which is is apparent that many people are uncomfortable with. After many replays I can't say that it lived up to my expectations but there were many enjoyable moments...
No I think he left because of people like you. You know, the whole 'I have something to say but because Im not sure what it is Ill just wrap it up in smugness and aggressive language and pass it off as something constructive' crap is frankly a pathetic way to represent your argument. Logical...
So many people however enjoy this game. You know there is a divide in opinion as that is the catalyst for the majority of discussions here. If Paul_cz enjoys the game and has fun playing it for over 45 hours then why shouldn't he judge the game great. Surely you are not suggesting that he...
You may be right. However, many people do enjoy their style of game environment. A lot of people. Certainly enough to make Bethseda a shed load of money to finance their next outing and allow everyone to keep their job. Personally, I enjoy their games. I can see why people are dismayed...
Seriously. Have you played this game at all? Quick run down. Inside most buildings there are lights on the wall. Stand under the light and you are there for all to see. Stand away from the light where it is darker and you may have a chance to be undetected. Sneaking by enemies at night is...
Appreciate it's a different kettle of fish but have had no bugs or crashes on the 360 version so far. Pretty seamless really apart from the crazy ragdoll physics on a few dead critters.
Not played The Witcher, so will take your word for it. The thread was about 'the spirit' of Fallout. The elements that we are presently discussing are niggles and annoyances (that for me don't spoil the game beyond playability). I think that the atmosphere has been carried through very well...
Agreed. The 3rd person angle is...well....pointless. Beth should've just had the conviction tostick to their FPS guns and done away with it. I suppose it is part of the engine. Poss an over the shoulder cam which is recently popular (GOW, Deadspace, etc.) wouldve been a better choice. The...
Re: the voice acting. I think its quite reasonable for voices to be duplicated. This is a big game, with alot of variables and alot of NPCs. Now I do understand why it grates with people - bit of an immersion killer but I can't think of an RPG on a similar scale with an individual voice for...
VATS is the one thing that seems to rile quite a few people. I think many people are under the impression that Beth just threw it in. Personally I think that it incorporates a tactical system quite well. Example: Fighting Nukalurks (tough little buggers!) used vats to rifle their eyes and...
