Oh, I see. I'd partially skipped you first post. Sorry. :D I've got this error when trying to install it on XP 64. But decided I'd just install XP 32, instead of trying to solve anything. Do that, I'd tell you. Or use VMware and see if you can run the game.

That. Also, rogerg2, you can dual-boot your pc. I have both Win XP 64 and 32 bit installed on my pc. 64 for general use - as it's much faster if you've got the a good amount of memory - and 32 for gaming because of compatibility issues. 5h00n4y, why don't you post a screen with the error...

I don't think you would be able to use VMware to run F1, since F1's win version uses DirectX, which isn't available on VMware. Perhaps I'm wrong?

Are you absolutely sure? Weren't you high on something? ;) If that wasn't the case, then, I don't know. 64 bit OSes can't run 16 bit applications. They don't have compatibility modes for that yet.
