for a long time i had the same chance of dying as dogmeat or ian. I am in the glow and every reload is because an NPC died. At what point did you try and stop keeping them alive or did you always reload? and also, they don't seem to wear the armor I give them. i am pretty sure that is just...

I am playing FO1. I got it from gog and I used patch 1.2.5 and 1.3.3 sugested here. the game was working fine, but right in combat, ian was taking his turn and the screen went blank. I was in the vault 15 part of the game. any suggestions? I am going to try again and if it crashes...

i had a similar error when I had changed a save file. I ruined the save changing it, had to use older save. that got rid of the problem, I just had a crash with FO1 and all I am using is the game and two of the patches recommended. patch 1.2.5 and 1.3.3

my savegame will not work with just fallout 2 and restoration patch now.

so I should install gog.com fallout 2, the restoration patch, AND sfall 2.9? will my savegames work if I update to 2.9? or is restoration patch already 2.9?

It is happening again. I had some problems with crashing and and corrupt savegame so I decided to reinstall the gog.com version of F02 and then the restoration project 1.2 by killap. and then the hi res patch.

what worked was your suggestion to target one leg, use smallest ap hit but if after a few hits they were still up I went for a higher AP hit that did more damage and barely beat the last guy but I did. I crippled his legs. i think I crippled the legs of 5 of them.

I have my unarmed at 100. and after frustration I have spent 15 points more on it. I am able to get to the last fighter but he always kills me. there are so many different combat moves costing various AP. I need a few pointers. I just died like 4 times...and lost one time in the last...
