Fallout 1,2 and tactics (in separate boxes!) Hi, I recently found F1, F2 and FT at media Markt in Umeå, Sweden. about 89 SEK each (89 Swedish kronor = 8.67987935 Euros, 89 Swedish kronor = 12.662208 U.S. dollars according to google). I think the box said "Xp and vista compatible" on...

The RPG Genre is fucked up

The comment about Todd's mom was over the top, otherwize well written. I particularly like how he liked the Diablo Games but calls them action games. They weren't RPGs but they are still not beneith him.

haven't played Clear Sky yet... but I can wholeheartedly recommend to play Shadows of Chernobyl. To me, it was the way an fps SHOULD be. Cannot say about Clear Sky though. But I think you should start playing SoC first. ' - kill Strelok'

A new Fallout game... by Obsidian?

Those of you who remember "kotor2" as a poor sequel should also recall that it had a really short dev-cycle. Anyway... This could be interesting.

Two Fallout 3 reviews from Wargamer

The story of Max Payne is told really neatly. I liked it a lot. Even funnier is that in the first game all characters are nerdish finnish coders. (on a sidenote, Max Payne 2 with it's emo style was lost upon me). on topic: It seems today that gaming journalists can't tell good writing...

    Fallout 3 reviews round-up #44

How can it get such high grades? Am I the ONLY one who finds the green pipboy interface cluttered and clumsy as well as a very short stone's throw away from what oblivion had (actually the oblivion interface at least had fair images of items and a quite usable map)? No item descriptions ...

8 reasons Fallout 3 will blow you away

didn't wolfenstein 3D feature slow-mo death scenes (pixelled of course) of the bosses? (called "death cam" if I am not mistaken). The first game that came to mind was the 2001 game Max Payne, which had more of a matrix style combat than slowmo-death scenes but it all boiled down to the same thing.

    CanardPC Q&A translated

interesting q&a. It is also really interesting to see that any kind of positive criticism is automatically accepted as absolute truth (by the general public), even crap as: "game of the year" long before the game is actually released. But the first sign of criticism..... I cannot wait...
