It's probably the unprecedented nature of the idea. Obsidian's work on NV felt like a weird hiccup in Zenimax's machinery; an aberration. I find that I've had moments where it competes. I find the general beat of combat to be challenging and fun. It's not half as polished as Far Cry's is, (Or even a fraction as daring) but the brutality of the encounters tests my mettle in fun ways. Different strokes for different folks.

I love Bunnyhop's videos and this one I agree with. To an extent. More New Vegas's and Tactics games would be a blessing, I think. Just less smartphone garbage and more substantial software would be appreciated. Don't Fallout Shelter it.
