Your favorite parts of Fallout 4?

Well the combat is much better. Also the plot is heads and shoulders above Fallout 3, even if it's not all that fleshed out or intriguing. I liked the weapons modifications as well as the settlement building, however I don't think it should have been such a major focus on this game. I think...

Temple of Trials, a badly designed area, or a stroke of genius?

I played Fallout 2 for the first time last year -- great game. I didn't have a problem with the intro. I mean it's tough, but it just goes to show you can't fight every single enemy you come across.

    Why I love Skyrim

I actually really enjoyed Skyrim, but I agree with a lot of the criticisms against the game. I like the idea of making my own character and going off on my own adventures, which has really been the strongest point to the Elder Scrolls series. I can ignore the flaws and have a blast with this...

In /r/Fallout, you cannot praise New Vegas without being mutilated and downvoted.

I have no issue with r/fallout. There are a ton of NV fans there, as well as older fans of the series. The true fanboyism is on Bethesda itself or was before they gimped their forums. That place is a cesspool. When I joined back in the early 2000s, it was never like that, even after...

    Best Fallout Game Ever?

Fallout 1 by far, followed closely by Fallout 2, then New Vegas, then Fallout 4. Fallout 3 was all right, but I wasn't crazy about it. I still haven't played tactics, so I might give that a try. edit: New Vegas was awesome, but nothing beats the original two.

    Never go to /r/Fallout

I don't think that subreddit is all that bad. There seems to be a lot of people there that share our sentiments. The subreddit has about 300,000 people though, so there's going to be a wide range of opinions. From what I've seen, New Vegas is held to a pretty high standard there.

FALLOUT 4 IS GREAT ALL YOU GUYS SUCK [Question]

That's what I'm thinking. Critical thought is stifled and, for some weird reason, if you don't like a particular game or prefer New Vegas, they have to mention how Fallout 3 sold more and was more popular, as if that shit should mean something to me. Of course they call me an old Black Isle...

FALLOUT 4 IS GREAT ALL YOU GUYS SUCK [Question]

I defended NMA a couple weeks ago on the official forums, but it just seems they actually enjoy hating on this forum. No matter the proofs to the contrary, the deep and well thought out posts I provided as examples, the input from Fallout 3 fans also members of this board, they simply would not...

Heard the best arguement ever today

I've grown to like Fallout 4 actually and pretty much accept Bethesda's Fallout with its first-person/real-time gameplay, but the moment I mention how great Fallout 1 or 2 was, I get jumped on, regardless if I'm not even attacking Fallout 4. It's as though if you like Fallout 1, you have to be...

Is the US a shitty place to live?

I moved here four years ago, and there's everything here that I could want -- hiking, mountains, desert, snow, cities, beaches, not to mention all the great food and of course cali burritos. My job pays well here, so I can't see myself moving anytime soon.

Is the US a shitty place to live?

I've been all over -- France, Italy Switzerland, China, Singapore, and I lived in Japan for a couple of years. If I could live anywhere, I'd pick Japan, but that's mostly because I miss it -- the food that is lol. I went to a japanese restaurant here, and it was over $100 for basically street...

Oh, it's beautiful here. :P It really depends where you go.

    Fallout 4 vs Fallout 2

Exactly. Fallout 4 is a fun game, but it's a very terrible RPG. Fallout 2 offered a lot of different sub-plots and branching quests and outcomes. Fallout 4 is really just a fun game, like an amusement park. Fallout 2 is an RPG that rewards and punishes the player for his choices. It doesn't...

Apparently, this is why Fallout 4 is a good game

I try not to involve myself in those communities. I don't particularly hate Fallout 4, but you can't discuss it's flaws without first praising the game so everyone knows you're a complete fanboy like them -- it's completely insane. There are some Fallout 4 fans who are open-minded, and I have...

The 'MrMattyPlays' Fallout 4 Review "A Near Perfect Game"

One user wrote, "...I truly think they have listened to us and have the fans best interest in mind..." Another wrote, "I know. I'm sorry I overreacted and acted violently. I 100% understand your point when you say you feel as if Bethesda broke a promise. I was merely stating that it was a good...
