It all comes tumbling down, tumbling down.

I"m not a hardline Fallout 1/2 purist and even I agree with most of htese points. I"m sorry but even form a modding perspective this dialogue system is next to unfixable and limits the player Waaay t oo much. even playing New Vegas and 3 I preferred their dialogue system because you di dn't hav...

Did James have to kill himself in Fallout 3?

While I want to say that I do love and genuinely enjoy Fallout 3. Obsidian did teh best with what they had to work with. Keep in mind that they had maybe a year at the most and they STILL managed to handle the writing of plot and characters so much better. I can forgive an underdeveloped Legion...

    Your least favorite FO3 quest.

The Waters of Life. This quest is when the Main Qeuest starts becoming incomprehensibly stupid. I could overlook most of the oddities up until this point but when the game starts railroading you like in this quest and Finding the Garden of Eden it becomes unbearable.

Plot-holes and logical inconsistencies of FO3?

Speaking as one of those who DID enjoy Fallout 3 (Yes, even Mothership Zeta) I can generally find handwaves and justifications for a lot of "unrealistic elements of the game but I have a few points in the main quest that I have YET to see decent justifications for. Mainly, why the hell doesn't...

    Recommended mod thread

Are there any mods to fix some of the plot holes in the game? I really want to play the Main Quest but I just can't take it seriously.

    "Lore Friendly" FO3 mods

I'd have to debate you on that one. But this isn't really the place

    "Lore Friendly" FO3 mods

I'm not sure if this is the right place but, can anybody recommend mods that plug up some pretty annoying plotholes? Mostly to do with the Enclave and your father. Like his completely moronic "Sacrifice" at Project Purity. just soem things to amke the whole main quest make more sense.

    Let's be thankful!

my god what is it with you people subscribing to the idea that "the only thing good about Fallout III is that you can uninstall/destroy/don't have to play it" It's the way you act you'd think it was the "Wurst gaam evurrrr." Have you people even tried to compare it to other things besides your...

I don't know i just have little patiance for difficulty but I enjoy alot of the gameplay and depth of RPGs and Action RPGs in perticular. Not to say I don't enjoy other RPGs I'm fine with some of the "limiting" elemetns in KOTOR games for example I LOVED KOTOR II but in an open game like the...

    Nonsensical Elements in Fallout 3

I role-play from time to time as well actu8ally in Oblivion my last Character was an attempt to create a Paladin or Crusader type who eventually fell from grace when he was infected with vampirism but I also like to have the ability to max my characters if I want to. It’s not like i'm saying...

    Nonsensical Elements in Fallout 3

instead of throwign game terms at me could someone ju st define the kriffign word? Sure roleplaying is nice but to some players putting an arbitrary limit on what the player can reach is a pain. some people LIKE to max everythign and eventually become a demigod of the setting. I liked the Almost...

    Nonsensical Elements in Fallout 3

When I hear balance its usually brings up the association of make the palyer never able to become powerful or accomplish anything in stead prepetually hold them back and make everything as hard as possible for them with every mechanic working agaisnt the player" Thats normally what I gather from...
