It's really making me sad panda because i can never finish a game...I have to go play fallout two but it just isn't the same :/

I need help lol I have the steam version of civilization complete and i place the folder and the .biq file in the scenarios folder. The game is fine at first glance but the scavenger hut/place produces super mutants, also every faction i play as, once it hits year 2240 the game crashes...
