I haven't even had it crash and I've played it around 20 hours. Honestly I would rather have an ambitious buggy game than a non-ambitious perfect one.
I remember playing fallout 1 and 2 when they came out. I think many people look back with rose colored glasses as far as frequency/severity of...
If I remember correctly, the PC version did look better.
At Quakecon, all the Fallout:New Vegas demos were on xbox360 in the Bethesda booth, but at the Nvidia booth there were 2 demos running it on the PC and I played with both.
I'm kind of in the same boat. I didn't buy the GOTY version when it was on sale. I just can't bring myself to re-install Fallout 3. I really had fun playing it through the first time. It was a fun game, but I have 0 desire to replay it. Partly because they made it so easy to be "good at...
I for one will be playing with the all the silliness on. I think I enjoyed most if not all the references in Fallout 2. How many of us DIDN'T wander aimlessly around the wilderness just to try to trigger the special encounters.. which were mostly silly.
Don't know.. but really wasn't bad when I played it. I played it all the way through when it first came out and only encountered one serious bug and that's been fixed.
Well I pre-ordered it today while buying something else off of steam that I wanted.
I really got a good feeling just from the environments they have built.
I have to disagree a little with the Bioware comments...
While in mass effect you might have several options that lead towards the same result, there are 2 designed rewards in there. 1. Their "karma" points, and entertainment, because it is the tone for your characters dialog.
So I see two...
I haven't played a zelda in years and I don't care enough to read the article, but I would put forward that over the series from the first NES version to last one I played, it already had changed quite a lot. Mostly in presentation, but quite a few gameplay elements as well. Certainly it wasn't...
I've been through this before with Origin years ago. If you are doing a fan site it doesn't matter if it's the exactly same name. As long as it isn't a commercial venture and it's contains a disclaimer, it pretty much falls into fair use of the trademark. But I wouldn't put it past them...
I for one have already preordered Borderlands. It's not a "fallout" but it looks like it will satisfy my PA itch for a while.. even if it is on an alien planet. I really think they were brilliant when they took diablo's random items and applied it to weapons. I know others have tried "hellgate"...
Yeah I played the first one and even though I love PA fiction and games, the games setting just rubbed me the wrong way.
I really thought I would like it but I couldn't get past the setting and stopped playing after a few hours....
Wow.. you say that the superiority of books for say philisophical musings is self evident.
I think the problem is that for someone that talks about the impact and imaginative potential of books, you clearly lack much imagination of your own when it comes to electronic interactive media (i...
