X3 reunion is pretty good in that regard. Just expect the learning curve to kick your ass.

Props to Bethsoft for accomplishing something that is TRULY surprising: Somehow completely destroying a world that was already completely destroyed through nuclear annihilation. That's pretty impressive.

If you like space sims then X3:Reunion is one of the better looking ones. It's pretty hard-press to run it at full settings at high resolution on anything other than a government supercomputer.
