So Old I'm Losing Radiation Signs

Fallout Sonora has several Doctor checks in every city (Though it also has it so Doctor's Bags can be used to bypass the checks, and you can use junk to bypass repairs so, mixed feelings) - It also has it so Crippled Limbs happens fairly frequently so it pays off to have a high Doctor.Reminds me of Tim video thoughts on a Fallout remake, he said he think the game doesn't need first aid and doctor, and he would do what fps Fallout did, merging it into medic back in the day i agreed with him but now i think this isn't a solution and it just delete role playing
Hell, even Fallout 2 gave you a couple opportunities to use it, and made Vault 8 much more useful if you had Doctor.
Making both Doctor and First Aid feel useful is the ideal here. Plus, since there's kind of a ceiling on how useful First Aid can be, and it's trained by Skill Books, in a game where Doctor is useful, there's not really much reason to take First Aid as a tag skill.
Again to the praise of Fallout 2 - They have a secret gambling hall in the Stockmen's association that players with high enough Gambling can get the password to. If there was more stuff like this, it'd be pretty cool.I would prefer if the game would have the occasional rigged private games, floor tables, and slots that the player could discover with skill, and then decide what they would do about it (if anything). Perhaps the gambling skill could supply playing hints, or even card counting probabilities for the player to —know— through their character's skill; better skill, better accuracy of the hints.
I really don't think Gambling should be an infinite money glitch - At the very least there should always be the possibility of losing. I think there's a few ways you could resolve it
-Have it so instead of being purely random - it's far more coded and predictable - So you can have Lucky Streaks and Unlucky Streaks - Add a bunch of gambler superstitions and what not. Players could get rewarded for high gambling - But also have it so if they don't accept their winnings and leave before things go south it can all go downhill
-Have more skill-based games, like Poker, which players can play against each NPCs(Or Caravan in New Vegas for example) - Winning Cards agianst someone very into cards could be an alternate solution to a quest - You could have high stakes poker games that you need to demonstrate a lot of skill to even get into, etc.
