I've never liked fandoms as a whole. When too many fans get together, they feed each other's headcanons f to create an extremely toxic echo chamber.

Persona 5 fans seem to think Persona 5 invented turn based rpgs, or the concept of urban fantasy. Also a lot of the intersect with incels and sony fanboys so they also get really mad at people even suggesting a Switch port would be great, and some of them even spoil the game as a response like the loser incel character from Persona 4.

I've only played 5 and really liked it, but it is kinda incely with the coffee shop girl harem.

Idk where the fuck people interact with fandoms at. I have literally never interacted with a fandom outside of nma. So when people bring up how bad a fandom is im bruh wtf just ignore em its not hard.

@Morgan_ the annoying bit about the harem route is that it literally shouldnt be doable as its out of character for joker. I mean they barely gave him a character at all but what they did give him is that hes cocky in the metaverse, and he wants his friends to be happy and cares about them.

I mean, that's one way to look at Joker. I'll avoid going into it, since I know you haven't played the full game, but there's a yin/yang to those character traits imo.

First dungeon: A teacher tries to sleep with his students, and that's obviously abusive and criminal.
Female teacher social link: Fuck your teacher and even go on a date with her on a school trip if you max it out earlier on enough.

In general is like: Adults trying to sleep with teenagers are rotten perverts... unless they are a hot woman. That's hot.

That's a little unfair, Joker has to hound after Kawakami and be the ever-constant aggressor in the relationship to even initiate a romantic subplot between them. (The only link in the game that has like 3 seperate scenes of her telling you "No, this is wrong.") She has to constantly try and guilt you into stopping, and even when the relationship becomes established, she's still hesitant about even holding hands.

She lays concrete rules of NO funny shit (Sex, for the subtlety-impaired), that she won't be doing a thing until you've:
1) Returned home and finished your studies post-game
2) You have to be living independently (i.e, a full adult in the eyes of society)
At best, the woman will let you lay your head in her lap while she strokes your hair. Kamoshida would prefer your head between his legs while he pulls your hair.

It's still a crime, and it's still a consistent double standard in Hashino's stories, that along with the unfortunte handling of lgbt characters that other Persona games didn't have despite hailing from the 90s.
