My biggest flaw with creative writing is getting inspiration to do something completely different and then starting something new. I really have to reign myself in and finish these Bethesda writeups.

Liberty Prime - The Fallout Numidium

Hey, you gotta start somewhere. I started mine on the iPhone notes app. If you ever decide to make it into a full thing, I hope you'll talk about it/upload it on the site. Love this, Texas and Louisiana is a perfect geological bridge from the familiar to the exotic. @The Dutch Ghost has also...

V.A.U.L.T. - An Alternative to SPECIAL

Very creative and interesting. If you shorten this to 4 attributes like YZE SRD, you could do: V - Vigor, STR and END A - Acumen, INT T - Tact, CHA and PER S - Supple, AGI and LCK

Liberty Prime - The Fallout Numidium

Are you doing a TTRPG rewrite of Fallout 3?

Todd Howard suggests that they'll start on Fallout 5 soon

What he said. ^ Bethesda didn't make Creation 2 just for Starfield. The next Fallout and Elder Scrolls are gonna be made on the new engine, and that takes a lot longer than 2008's Gamebryo.

So if Caesar had won, what would happen next?

That's awesome! If it goes anywhere I'd love to hear what you come up with.

Liberty Prime - The Fallout Numidium

I haven't posted anything online yet for the rewrite projects, it's still a massive WIP that I've admittedly neglected recently in favor of playing Atopic Postman's TTRPG with my RPG group. If you'd like to talk about what I got I can PM you. Also I'm glad to hear you're making use of the...

Todd Howard suggests that they'll start on Fallout 5 soon

If they're JUST starting soon, with the modern gaming industry you're looking at 10-15 years actually.

Why are there no fallout comics?

There's this one and the New Vegas prequel comic All Roads. There really should be more.

Liberty Prime - The Fallout Numidium

That’s a very interesting idea. I never played Daggerfall enough to know of the Numidium, but the comparisons you draw are definitely interesting. I agree with you that Liberty Prime renders the finale of the game lame as you’re just following a giant killer robot and watching it do all the work...

Why are there no fallout comics?

Fallout comics would be pretty great, I just hope that they’d be taken seriously and not just written as nothing but joke serials (though humor is to be expected obviously). I’d love a comic series about Sgt. Granite and his remnants taking odd jobs around the wasteland after Fallout 2. Also...

Notes on Fallout TV (Return to the Nolanverse complete, Review notes complete)

My dumbass thought you were talking about Batman. I don't think it's supposed to be the Dome, just unmarked evil base. I'm in agreement with Hardboiled that the base itself was an afterthought by the writers and will never be shown again. However it's also good to note that depending on the...

Todd Howard suggests that they'll start on Fallout 5 soon

Let's see. The game will be set in New York City. The Brotherhood will control the city, patrolling around with massive Zeppelins. They will be fascistic with a secret splinter group of goody goody BOS taking the role of the BOS the player can join. The game will reveal the main BOS are evil...

So if Caesar had won, what would happen next?

One thing to point out would be his hypocrisy when it comes to the Auto-Doc in his tent which cures the mighty Caesar of his tumor, a machine he bestows as a gift to his most loyal and effective troops as well. He isn't against being a hypocrite so long as his hypocrisy benefits the Legion, in...

So if Caesar had won, what would happen next?

Really crazy idea, but would Caesar be able or willing to eventually put himself into House's stasis chamber and act as the deified immortal his Legion's tribesmen see him as? Cuz if so, time is not a problem for him.

So if Caesar had won, what would happen next?

I want to addendum this sentence as it’s very poorly worded and I think crippled my point. I don’t mean switch sides to the Legion as in Alice McLafferty and Gloria Van Graff would start openly making weapons and giving supplies for the Legion to invade the west like a bad Saturday morning...

So if Caesar had won, what would happen next?

While these are fair points, I think this applies more to a Legion led by Lanius rather than Caesar. Caesar is one smart fucker and knows the NCR like the back of his hand having been born and raised right in it and spending the past few decades preparing for the day he inevitably clashes with...

Fallout memes, rants, fanwank - AKA - A General Fallout Discussion Thread

It's already been 8 months? Christ. It doesn't surprise me, the lack of content. Seems like the entire game was an afterthought.

So what do people think of the characters?

Science working differently is fine but I'm tired of people using the excuse of a story being sci-fi or fantasy to handwave poor world building and no logical consistency. The original two games were at least logically consistent and presented in a manner where the sci-fi could be explained and...
