Fallout TV show coming 2024, featuring Vault 33 in Los Angeles

One day I hope I'll come across a copy of FOBOS on a flea market for the PS2 and I will play it.

The Male Sole Survivor from Fallout 4 is Canonically a War Criminal

But there is also some rather bad stuff in Oblivion then. Side quests can always be bad. Thought it was about the main quests since that's more fixed and isn't optional.

The first Season of the Fallout tv show is out

The constant slomo action shots bothered me, too. Especially since they almost always put whimsical music over it, regardless of it fitting or not.

Skyrim wasn't all that ambiguous either, I think. They always allow you to play an evil character, but post Morrowind their main quests at least have been fairly streamlined to be very lawful good. But Morrowind let you do some funky shit to get through the main quest, actually forces you to do...

Fallout TV show coming 2024, featuring Vault 33 in Los Angeles

They haven't rebuilt shit in 20 years, but now they turned on the lights in their ruins so shit's okeydokey now.

Fallout TV show coming 2024, featuring Vault 33 in Los Angeles

Oh for sure, energy is a concern, but fusion cores and cells are not batteries. They're self contained fusion power plants (at least the microfusion cells are) explicitly, and for example the T51b was powered by a microfusion reactor. The way I see it fusion, on a small scale at least, was...

Fallout TV show coming 2024, featuring Vault 33 in Los Angeles

The point is that fusion already existing in miniaturised formats makes cold fusion as shown here pointless. The whole point of cold fusion is that it's easier to achieve and comparatively low energy, but if they already managed to miniaturise fusion, it implies that they either already have...

Unpopular Opinion on Fallout 4 & 76's Power Armor

It'd require a bunch of balancing, sure. But acquiring power armor in Fallout 1 wasn't straight forward either, and this would make it a mid to late game armor, especially T51. It'd be rare and repairing one would be but one option to acquire it. Could even be a quest for either of the main...

Emil lost a lot of weight, but as a writer he's still about as edgy as a pile of butter.

Conveniently install and run Fallout[12] + mods on Linux with my 'fallout-wine-0.1' script

Huh, I was just thinking about playing F1 again and now that I'm on Linux mainly I was gonna look foe something like this

Would you have rather gotten Van Buren but no New Vegas?

I think the Van Buren tech demo had both real time and turn based modes. Anyway, I had been eagerly awaiting Van Buren since it was first announced and I was sorely disappointed every time it was then postponed and then cancelled. Now I love NV, but gimme VB any day.

True. But that much has already been done, so why not make him the actual executioner while we're at it? Give him something to be disillusioned about.

Unpopular Opinion on Fallout 4 & 76's Power Armor

I do like the PA system in Fallout 4, but I think the game made power armors and fusion cores way too ubiquitous. And while it has a big armor boost, it's not like the game really requires it. Personally, I would have made power armors more rare and require more work to use, and generally made...

And? Kinda the point of that scene in the intro to show that the Geneva convention was more of a checklist at the time. I'm surprised you can still type given that you have probably clapped your hands to bloody stumps at all the dangling keys in the show.

I would have respected him if he had doubled down. But that would mean actually understanding the world and feel of fallout.

Fallout TV show coming 2024, featuring Vault 33 in Los Angeles

Which is rather nonsensical and pointless, why cold fusion being a mcguffin when it has been a thing all along (a single fusion core somehow powered a vault, and microfusion cells had been a thing in fallout from the start). Also, lol at the all the lights just turning on after 15 years or so...

So I watched the first episode of the Fallout TV show.......

Don't be too hopeful. It's... not very good imo. Also, a guy is beating off in the racks, but Durrnzel Washington later has no clue what sex is. Lol whacky.
