    I think it's fine. You encounter light armored enemies throughout the game, also sometimes you can just use JHP to conserve AP even if it's less effective. Because AP is more expensive and less plentiful.

    I recommend Stalin's "Sfall Script Editor" you can find it in download section on NMA. Once you are more confident with scripting, I'd recommend BGForge MLS (VSCode plugin). Latest Modderspack still includes the old editor, it's supposed to work but for regular people there's hardly any reason...

    Go ahead. There is no point in Weapons Redone if you use EcCo. Pick one or the other. EcCo has it's own damage formula (ammo mod). You can of course combine these mods somehow but this requires some modding expertise, they will never work together as is.

    You can definitely try it. I tried to make damage script as independent as possible. You can take gl_pbs_damage_mod.int and combat.ini from the latest EcCo release (or compile yourself from source), configure it how you like and try using in another mod by itself.
