So what do people think of the characters?

Given I directly reference Necropolis, I know exactly what I mean and I also note a huge chunk of players would absolutely choose what Maximus is. Also in real life plenty of people would choose to help the person they care for over a bunch of strangers. To be frank, I wish the show had the...

So what do people think of the characters?

Again, you choose between saving someone you care about and complete strangers. With the power armor, Maximus can save Lucy's dad. It's why you should always take Necropolis' water chip.

So what do people think of the characters?

You mean the people who just tried to kill Lucy? Yeah, I can't imagine why he would think they didn't deserve a fusion core. Choosing to help Lucy rescue her dad and be a hero is hardly a poor choice over a bunch of Vault monsters.

So what do people think of the characters?

Except that ignores that he constantly is trying to be a hero. The show fakes us out by making us think Maximus might be ruthless enough to sabotage his friend to become a knight but it's actually why the Brotherhood makes him a squire because they think he can be that kind of monster. Instead...

So what do people think of the characters?

Maximus believes that the brotherhood are heroes who rescued him and tries several times to be a hero by protecting Chicken Fucker, Lucy, and other people but each time it ends in disaster. Then he sees that the Knights are bullies, fascists, and their philosophy is outright insane. He wants the...

If you don't like it, don't watch it.

So what do people think of the characters?

Maximus wants to be a Knight of the Brotherhood more than anything at the start and then is ashamed he's a Knight of the Brotherhood at the end.

So what do people think of the characters?

He's a guy who doesn't have any real moral feelings on anything/believes the Brotherhood's BS then realizes they're assholes. He's on an arc.

Hopefully they won't back away and set her up with a white bad boy as more socially acceptable.

Chris Avellone examines the Fallout TV Series

Clue reference: Mrs. White: He threatened to kill me in public. Ms. Scarlet: Why would he want to kill you in public? Wadsworth: I think she meant he threatened, in public, to kill her. Ms. Scarlet: Oh. The Enclave wanted to colonize space and that's why they did the Vault experiments but...

Yes, because a billionaire using insider trading information is less realistic than "I predicted it down to the last 24 hours because I AM SO SMART. With MATH. Which gives me superpowers." :whatever: It's fucking ridiculous and it's fucking ridiculous in New Vegas. We just let it go because...

Chris Avellone examines the Fallout TV Series

Unless you do the House ending, which is better than NCR. And NCR is just Pre-War America now. And Bethesda constantly shits on the Old World as a hellhole by having every person from that era as comically evil except Nate and Nora.

Chris Avellone examines the Fallout TV Series

Except New Vegas is massively about mourning the Old World. They even have a DLC based around a fictional in-universe condition. All four of the DLC are about it. Yes, it's shown to be a bad idea in-universe but you can't argue New Vegas isn't drenched in 50s nostalgia.

Chris Avellone examines the Fallout TV Series

I'd argue that it did massive contributions to the Pre-War era.

Chris Avellone examines the Fallout TV Series

Some fans have the view Fallout was always this incredibly serious and grim story like the post-apocalypse Lord of the Rings. Others have the view it was always a silly fun theme park of post-apocalypse and sci-fi concepts. The latter is what Bethesda believes and thus continually everyone on...

Three Dog is an idiot, a hypocrite and a poser

I feel that whatever you think of the Bethesda Fallout games, they're at least acutely aware of how ridiculous their world and deliberately so.

Yes, House says he had no interest in saving the world (and couldn't if he'd wanted to) but he did try to save Vegas. He mostly succeeded.

Chris Avellone examines the Fallout TV Series

And you'd be wrong because Fallout 4's story is crap while this is at least fun. Avellone is aping a lot of complaints (non-disguised Vault entrances) but I do disagree with him about one thing - Fallout 1 and 2 aren't gone. You can buy them on steam now.

Yes, being the only person who points out the ethical and infrastructure issues does this. House never agrees to the plan and isn't part of it. However, he does have foreknowledge of it....which he already did.
